02 / CAREER COMPASS

Listen. Ask. Explore.

The session centres on an informal conversation with public health professionals. It is an opportunity to look beyond job titles and hear about the choices, experiences and changes behind them.

Explore different paths

Hear how professional journeys can develop in different directions.

Ask what matters to you

Bring questions about career decisions, transitions and lessons learned.

Learn from experience

Listen to the people behind the roles and consider what resonates with you.

03 / CAREER COMPASS

What would you like to ask?

Not sure where to start? Here are a few questions you could bring to the discussion:

  • What helped you decide on your first role after the fellowship?
  • Which skills have proved useful across different jobs?
  • How did you approach a career change or an unexpected opportunity?
  • What would you do differently if you were starting again?
  • What advice would you give someone considering a path like yours?
